Microsoft Windows Live Mail - POP3

To configure Microsoft Windows Live Mail to collect email via POP3:
Your username and password can be found in the 'Account information' email sent to you when your service was started.
- Click the blue 'Windows Live Mail' menu button at the top left and select 'Options > Email accounts'.
- Click the 'Add' button and select 'email Account' then click 'Next'.
- Enter your email address into the 'email address' box.
- Enter your password into the 'Password' box.
- Enter your name into the 'Display Name' box.
- Select 'Make this my default email account' and 'Manually configure server settings for email account' and then click the 'Next' button.
- Under 'Server type' select 'POP'.
- Enter 'mail.netenergy.net' into the 'Incoming Server address' box.
- Select 'Requires a secure connection (SSL)'.
- Under 'Authenticate using' select 'Authenticated POP (APOP)' from the drop down list.
- Enter your username into the 'Logon user name' box, replacing what is already there.
- Enter 'mail.netenergy.net' into the 'Outgoing server address' box.
- Select 'Requires a secure connection (SSL)' and 'Requires authentication'.
- Under 'Outgoing Port' replace '25' with '465' then click the 'Next' button, then click the 'Finish' button to save your settings.
- Highlight the account you just created and click on the 'Properties' button.
- Select the 'Advanced' tab.
- Select 'Remove from server after' and enter '1' day, then click 'OK'.
- Click 'Close'.
