Microsoft Outlook - POP3

To configure Microsoft Outlook to collect email via POP3:
Your username and password can be found in the 'Account information' email sent to you when your service was started.
- Select 'Tools' followed by 'Account Settings'.
- Click the 'New' button under the 'email' tab.
- Select 'Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP' and then click the 'Next' button.
- Enter your name into the 'Your Name' box.
- Enter your email address into the 'email Address' box.
- Select 'Manually configure server settings or additional server types' and then click the 'Next' button.
- Select 'Internet email' and then click the 'Next' button.
- Select 'POP3' from the 'Account Type' drop down menu.
- Enter 'mail.netenergy.net' into both the 'Incoming mail server' and 'Outgoing mail server' boxes.
- Enter your username into the 'User Name' box, replacing what is already there.
- Enter your password into the 'Password' box.
- Click the 'More Settings' button.
- Under the 'Outgoing Server' tab select 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication' and select 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server'.
- Select the 'Advanced' tab.
- Select 'This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)'.
- Under 'Outgoing server (SMTP):' replace '25' with '465'.
- Select 'SSL' under 'Use the following type of encrypted connection:'.
- Select 'Leave a copy of messages on the server'.
- Select 'Remove from server after' and enter '1' day, then click 'OK'.
- Click the 'Test Account Settings' button, if successful click 'Close' if not check the settings.
- Click 'Next' then 'Finish'.
- Click 'Set as Default' then click the 'Close' button.
