The importance of mobile web sites

Mobile phones and tablets have become ever more popular for browsing the Internet since the introduction of the Apple iPhone and iPad, along with the many other devices from Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Nook.

When people are out and about or away on holiday their mobile phone or tablet is often the only access they have to the Internet, having a web site optimised for these people could be of particular benefit to businesses who rely on tourism, giving holiday makers easy access to local places to stay, things to do and places to eat and drink.
